📖 The ₹3,000 Room Transformation...
Interior design blogger Ananya challenged herself: Transform a room with only ₹3,000. She bought: Jute rug (₹800), 2 new cushion covers (₹600), a throw blanket (₹700), and 2 terracotta candles (₹400) = ₹2,500 total.
Before/after photos went viral. Same furniture, same paint, same room — completely different energy just from soft furnishings.
This is the power of textiles and soft accessories! 🛋️

Rugs — Room's Foundation Piece
📐 Rug Sizing Bible:
Living room: All main furniture legs on rug (at minimum, all front legs). Size: at least 8x10 ft for standard living room.
Dining room: Rug extends 24 inches beyond all sides of table (chairs stay on rug when pulled out).
Bedroom: Rug extends 18–24 inches on 3 sides of bed (both sides + foot). Size for queen bed: 8x10 ft minimum.
Most common mistake: Too small rug! A too-small rug looks like a bath mat in a living room. Always go bigger than you think!

💡 The Perfect Cushion Formula:
For a 3-seater sofa: 5 cushions in odd number
Combination: 2 large same (60x60 cm) + 2 medium different (50x50 cm) + 1 lumbar/long (60x30 cm)
Color rule: 60-30-10 applies! 2 neutral, 2 secondary color, 1 accent
Texture rule: Mix minimum 3 textures — smooth velvet + woven texture + printed
Pro tip: Cushion covers change seasonally — same sofa, 4 different looks per year for Rs. 1,500–3,000 each change!
