📖 The Night Before
Sam had his NISM-XV exam the next morning. He'd revised thoroughly. His mock test scores: 68%, 72%, 74% in the last three attempts.
His mentor's advice: "Don't study tonight. Sleep well. The exam is 100 questions in 120 minutes — that's 1.2 minutes per question. The syllabus is already in your head. What you need now is a clear, rested brain."
Sam slept. He scored 79%. ✅

The 120-Minute Time Budget
⏱️ Optimal Time Allocation
60 min
First pass — all 100 questions. Easy ones answered, hard ones marked for review.
45 min
Second pass — revisit marked questions. Work through the tricky ones.
15 min
Final review — verify your answers on questions you were unsure about.
The Elimination Method
For every MCQ you're unsure about:
Step 1: Eliminate 1–2 obviously wrong options immediately
Step 2: Now you're choosing between 2 options instead of 4 — much better odds
Step 3: Apply logic: which answer fits the SEBI/regulatory framework you've learned?
Step 4: Go with your first instinct — don't overthink once you've eliminated
Changing answers at the last minute costs more marks than it saves.
