📖 Clutter vs Style...
Rohan placed a candle, a book, a remote, and a small plant on his coffee table (4 items in total). It looked very cluttered.
His sister (who is a designer) came in, removed the remote, and grouped the book, candle, and plant together (3 items). Suddenly, the same table looked like a magazine cover! This is the magic of the Rule of 3!

What is the Rule of Three?
The human brain likes symmetry, but asymmetrical and odd numbers are more interesting to the brain. Things arranged in groups of 1, 3, 5, or 7 look natural and appealing. 3 is the most magical number!
How to apply it in your home?
1. Coffee Table / Shelf Styling:
Group things in 3s, and make sure all three have different heights and shapes.
📐 The Perfect Trio:
1. Something Tall (Vertical): Like a vase or candlestick.
2. Something Wide (Horizontal): Like a stack of 2-3 coffee table books.
3. Something Sculptural / Organic: Like an odd-shaped decor piece, a round bowl, or a plant.
Place these three together so they form a Triangle. It never fails!

2. Cushion Styling:
Place 3 cushions in a corner of the sofa. The Rule of Pattern:
- Cushion 1: A Solid Color.
- Cushion 2: A large pattern (Large geometric/floral).
- Cushion 3: A small pattern (Small texture/stripes).
3. Artwork and Hanging:
Hanging 3 paintings together (a Triptych) feels much more balanced and narrative than hanging 2 or 4 paintings.
💡 Use a Tray:
If you have many small items on a table (remotes, coasters, candles) and they look messy, put them all inside a Decorative Tray. The brain registers the tray as "one (1)" object, not multiple separate items. It instantly creates a clean, organized feel!
